The Shrimp Shack - Bago Bantay

I am passionate about pasta, so naturally when hunger strikes it's the first food that comes to mind, and considering the name of the place, I dove right in. It was disappointing! The seafood marinara, which we had, had great presentation, but the flavor is bland. I cook better than this. There's nothing special about their pizzas either.

I only have good words for this place. Big servings, nice place and interior and it's located in a not crowded part of the mall. I can't forget the tacos, it was really good but we weren't able to eat all of it because it was a lot. Pizza and pasta were also yummy. Will eat again and try other flavors. ???? Since it's pretty new in the area. We went ahead and tried this resto out. We were disappointed with the serving size of Surf &Turf (Php330). It's not good for sharing. The meat was like 2 teaspoons portioning and there were 5 pcs of shrimp. Not happy with it. Alfredo & Shrimp (Php190) It was creamy but lacked seasoning.

I think this place is good for ordinary dates. It's not as crowded nor noisy just like the other restaurants at the mall. Their food were above average when it comes to taste, not something I would crave for. Red sauce was quite sour. The Staffs are efficient and friendly.

I'll always come back to this restaurant. Food is good, price is just right. Their vietnamese style garlic spaghetti is really satisfying with or without the shrimps. Also love their pasta negra, I didnt become sick unlike when I ate the one in Earth Kitchen so long time ago.. (still love Earth Kitchen, though! Just not ordering pasta negra ever coz it might not be a fave on the menu so it's not fresh)
