Meson Jamoneria Fidalgo - Baiona

If you're in Baiona, this place is worth not to miss. Excellent food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere!

After doing a quick hunt on trip advisor this was where we selected for a leisurely lunch on a poor weather day and we were not disappointed! The food wine and atmosphere were fantastic. No English is spoken though they do have a menu in English and I think we were the only none Spanish in there and was very busy (all good so far). Due to it being busy the service was a little slow but wasn’t an issue, everything we ordered was delicious, the expensive ham recommended by another reviewer was excellent as was the chorizo, platter of pate, fried squid, scrambled egg with sea urchin and tuna salad. Got the kids trying some different things and the house wines by the glass were excellent. A real taste of Spain that we will definitely return to.

Yes it’s the most expensive jamon on the menu but you will remember every bite long after you pay the check. We also ordered a mixed cheese and charcuterie board that was very well conceived, among other items for an excellent dinner. The well balanced, dry Valmiñor paired beautifully. Service is professional and effortlessly good. It’s worth going out of your way to dine here and is also just across the street from the very good Hotel Arce. Perfect evening in one of the prettiest areas of Baiona.

Beautiful restaurant amazing eating so much taste fantastic service, will travel back from earth to visit again
