Fatburger Buffalo's Express - Baker

This was my first time at this restaurant. I arrived on 6/14/23 at 4:40pm and took my time looking at the menu, which was tucked away in a corner. I also checked out other food options in the food court. Once I made up my mind, I went to the counter to place my order. I decided on the Kingburger and started to choose my toppings. The cashier asked if I wanted a combo or just the burger. I opted for the combo because he mentioned it came with fries and a drink. Then he asked if I wanted fat or skinny fries. I was unsure of the difference, so I asked him if one was homemade and the other frozen. He reacted with frustration, rolling his eyes and huffing. He simply said they were both fries. I apologized for asking the question, explaining that it was my first time at the restaurant. However, he dismissed my apology and asked impatiently what I wanted. Feeling uncomfortable, I decided to leave without ordering anything. I can't rate the food since I didn't try it, so I gave it 1 star for the poor customer service experience.

This is the best Fatburger on the West Coast. The manager has been there for 8 years. I frequently stop by on my way to LA. They also have parking available for trucks.

After a road trip from Las Vegas to San Diego, I stopped at a fantastic burger joint for a delicious post-Vegas meal.

Burgers were decent, but lacked seasoning and taste. Fries were also a bit bland, but overall a decent place to stop for food when you're out in the middle of nowhere. Also, they have a full liquor license so you can get a bit tipsy and I'm sure the food would taste even better. Didn't try the shakes but if I went again I might try.

Stopped to charge the car and have a treat, the burger was good the fries were just ok, they were fried to fast and a couple were still kinda raw but overall it was good and good customer service.
