The Woodyard - Bakewell

The restaurant offers a variety of vegan options including cooked breakfast, pizzas, sandwiches and burgers. The outdoor seating area is lovely on a nice day, but we did experience a 45-minute wait for our food (which we were informed about when we sat down).

Our experience at the Woodyard was one of the worst we've had. Despite seeing good reviews, we were excited to have dinner and drinks there. However, when we arrived, the interior space was empty and there were available tables outside. We were told the place was booked, but when we questioned why we couldn't sit, we were told it was because food couldn't be served outside. This excuse seemed dishonest, as many tables were already eating outside. This behavior was shocking and unacceptable. We would not recommend this place.

I ordered the mushroom pizza with vegan cheese and it was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also fantastic! The restaurant is located in a stunning spot right by the river, with ample seating both indoors and outdoors.

Nice restaurant, we had not booked in advance, but they were very accommodating. Separate vegan menu with good options. Mushroom risotto was beautiful!

I have the mushroom pizza with vegan cheese and it was totally delicious really great cocktails! It is in a really beautiful location right on the river, with a lot of outdoor and indoor seating.
