Ayhan's Shish-kebab - Baldwin

I've been to ayhan's in the past but never been to this one in Baldwin, came in for lunch, they were out of shrimp, so we ordered the gyro plator, the food was greece, the service was slow, this place is old needs an overhaul, the dishes and utensils were dirty, very disappointed ?.

I do Love this place!; , I, for myself, personally, have currently approved of all my own, food; , beverage episodes, herein; so far.It 's a, pretty well done kind of glorified, somewhat more upmarketed: Greek diner, that also offers: some Turkish, Cypriot, Meditterean, Italian, Hispanic; And: Americano foods, essentially becoming: a, fusion mix sort of a, place; at least, that 's the best deductions that can be made, from the ordinary, everyday person 's observable narratives in here; , about here.There is much to like, here; for those comfortable with such blended stylings; in my own views: management; attitude; approach; locale; customer attendance numbers counts; rather good service, overall; selection; good tastes; good foods; nice portions; various good abilitues to find a wide range of menu items; etc.; albeit, like w/: most things, always; take your own opinions, on case by case, terms; , all things can be, at some times, inconsistent here; it would be obvious to say; in an ongoing set of ways.Having eaten both lunch; , dinner meals; without undergoing deeply set, symptomatic, endemically serious concerns at this place, it would appear, to be, more than just alright; in my own personal judgments; , opinions, thus far.Costs can span a range of prices across the spectrum; but, this is, NOT: a, fast food; hurry up; quick get it; hurry out; then, pay extremely little kinda place; nor, is this, a place, for folks: in, any: impatient rushing, type, of: typical, fast prep; , fast food service; w/: hugely demanding needs; always offered, at always cheapo price points, as the main; , primary concerns, which are so ubiquitously common, every where that you go, in the, U.S.A.; for generations before; since; now; ongoing; , to come also, in the future, which would sadly seem to still be true. High costs are Not needed; yet, should be quite expected to encounter here, very quickly; , rather easily; and, they can go up to places of great geights; dependant upon: a variety of factors, of course; such as, but, not limited to: what; , how much, that you, as a solo eating consumer order; to stay; or, to go; (and/or: all those at the time, that you are there, whom you may be joined up together as a, possible group party visit crew; when you order; pre determined menu pricings; ETC. ;... but, price point Only, as the sole driving motivator of all our eating selections, is: NOT, a, good thing, by any stretch of reasonable imagination; , is unequivocally, horrendously harmful, for all of us, to: our health; wellness; and, freedom of options; , diverse choices; ETC.Service can be seen as relaxed; attentive; , requiring one to remain easy goingly chilled; or, viewed, as: slow; inattentive; unconcerned; rushed; , disinterested; deoending upon many diner 's individual stories; histories; , reactions.Personally, I, myself, still; currently, feel: Okay; , comfy, in this, quaint, atmospheric homespun stylistic, quieter, littler eatery; w/: a, simpler; older, feel. Please Note; Also: The proprietors do have: at least, 2; if not, 3; (or, possibly, even more ; other, local , similarly titled; , similarly owned; , run, eatery operations, in this, generalized, region.A. Soo.. Haven't been here in awhile. Always great service and atmosphere but...I walked in and they had an all you can eat buffet.. Well.. Less just say I'll be coming back more often.. Salad bar was on point..Food was fabulous... plenty of choices and at the end.. baklava!!! BAKLAVA!!! I went on Sunday. Give them a call they'll let you know the days they have it..

Pros....Nice atmosphere, drink specials, and mostly tasty food. (Lobster bisque was trash. Out of three orders of it, no one in our group really liked it.)Cons....Place was a little chilly. Servers seemed to be new. Our waiter was ok, but had a problem acknowledging when people asked questions or requested items. We had to ASK for our table to be cleared.

My wife had the experience to be there with friends and she told me how much she liked it and recommended it to me and I couldn't hesitate to follow her recommendations. And let me tell you it was amazing the food was awesome delicious as soon that we stepped in to restaurant they were so friendly. Juan Carlos was the waiter and he was so nice since it was my first time tasting Mediterranean food he took his time to explain about the food and specials he made us feel very comfortable . I highly recommend it by the way they have a gift card special if you purchase $100 you'll get $50 gift card total of $150 is worth it . Sorry about the pictures I was so impressed with the amount of food that came on the plate that I forgot to take pictures when it arrived so in the picture it was just what I brought home. I ordered the five kebab feast .
