Tonight was my first time there, totally enjoyed everything!!!Salad Bar, Baked Potato 38 Special Pork Chops were DELISH!!!!Very friendly and family oriented place?

This is one of our to go places wherever we feel like a steak for 2 , it 's not often. Last night 's steak was the best so far, ever, anywhere around. Taste, tenderness, and appearance. Plenty leftover for the to go box. Nice clean, small, country like place. It 's a little out of town, but if you want a steak for 2, prepared good, with the salad bar and baked spud under $50 bucks. This should be your destination.

Service was fine as was atmosphere. The steaks were just too salty, and I mean not a little saltier than I like, but extremely salty. Immediately stopped eating it. Flipped the steak over and there were no grill marks. I’m not sure how that is but it seems like it was soaking in a warm salty solution and then plopped on a grill for a couple of minutes and served it. Just a really bad steak. And I wanted to like this place. Love the history behind it.

Stopped in for dessert and a sweet tea. Perfect! And the location is in quiet country.
