Írjon visszajelzéstThis is the second time we have been let down by Rel-ish at The Osprey. In August, my entire family came for dinner only to find the restaurant closed. Today, just 10 minutes before our reserved time (booked 4 hours in advance), I received a call saying they had run out of propane! While the food at Rel-ish is better than average, the service and management of the restaurant is completely disorganized and unreliable. I would not recommend making any serious dinner plans here.
We just moved out of town. we used to be at relish on baker and now my favorite restaurant in balfour is best eating ever!
We visited this restaurant on Tuesday night. a server sat us, brought us water and that was the end of our service. a second waitress served a few girls who came after us and the third waitress served a couple who came in and joined some others. we have observed the server that served us the washing menus, wash ketchup bottles, but never asked us if we wanted a drink or anything else. that went about 20 minutes, we finally got up and left. I don't think one of the 3 servers even noticed. More terrible service.
After an enjoyable round of golf at a fantastic course, we were looking forward to the usual clubhouse fare of beer and wings. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Relish Bistro, a popular dining spot in Nelson, BC, had opened a second location at the clubhouse! We decided to try out some cocktails and were impressed by the sophisticated menu offerings that were a step above the typical pub grub (goodbye, stuffed garnels). Although we had initially made dinner reservations at another restaurant, we were tempted by the amazing options on the menu at Relish Bistro. The dining room was elegantly decorated, catering to both golfers and guests looking for a special dining experience. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who escorted us to our table with great care. His management of social distancing protocols was impressive, making us feel safe and comfortable. He explained the ordering process (green whistle for service, red whistle to indicate we preferred not to be disturbed) and outlined the areas where we were allowed to move around. It was clear that the owner had put a lot of thought into ensuring the safety of guests while still providing a delightful dining experience. We will definitely be back, and we plan on bringing along friends to enjoy the experience as well.
Thursday is pasta night so mark your calendars because you don't want to miss it. All six of us had the special and each of us loved it. The menu could do with updating but that doesn't effect the quality of the items which are...on it. Don't forget to book if you want to get a table outside. Simply delightful. We'll be back.
