Pier 26 - Ballycotton

This place has the nicest chef and servers. We were running a little behind (30 minutes on getting to Pier 26 for their last reservation. The restaurant was kind enough to seat and serve us whatever we like. They fired the kitchen back up essentially for us. We just truly didn't understand how long 5 miles could take in Ireland. : The food was phenomenal. It was a pretty white table cloth place with well dressed waiters. The crème Brule was my favorite part. It was prepared to perfection. The lobster was also tasty. I'd definitely recommend this place whether you are a local looking for a special night or a traveler looking for a quality meal.

The food is fresh and delicious, the servers are quick and friendly, and the ambiance is clean and comfortable. It's the ideal spot to treat yourself!

It's advisable not to visit without a reservation. Also, I wouldn't recommend the fish and chips; they were definitely not the best choice!

I had the seafood chowder, and it was incredible. The salmon was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. I also tried the Hake, which is similar to cod, accompanied by mash and purple broccoli. The fish was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is conveniently located near the pier and offers stunning views of the ocean, countryside, islands, and the lighthouse. Additionally, the staff were exceptionally friendly.
