Great, cozy and romantic spot. It is an elevated take on classics; we got fried cauliflower and the goat cheese bites, Nero d’avalo pizza, asparagus (not the best) and candy bar and chocolate mousse for desert. While the food is good, the atmosphere and drinks are what take this place to a next level date spot that I would recommend.

Plenty of great options for early dinner or late night rendezvous.

Blue Hill Tavern is a cute, trendy, upscale dining experience that is still reasonably priced. The complimentary valet service is always a plus. I prefer to make reservations everywhere nowadays, but walk in customers are also welcome. Servers are great. The kitchen closes for orders around 8:30pm, so I wouldn’t make this a late stop. There is also a full bar. This visit I enjoyed a Watermelon Basil Mule, which was delicious if you’re into mint/herb infused beverages. For dinner, I enjoyed the Grilled Octopus and Ny Strip, which was cooked to my Medium Well liking with perfection. I very rarely eat any sweets or desserts, but I actually loved the Mousse because it wasn’t too sweet. Thumbs up.
