We stopped by for breakfast, and everything was delicious, satisfying, and very budget-friendly. The cappuccino was excellent, the iced mocha was a bit on the sweet side, but the nitro coffee was fantastic. The omelet was delightful, and both the bagels and sandwiches were impressive as well.
I was strolling through Baltimore City, searching for a new place to try, when I stumbled upon David and Dad's Cafe. Wow! This cafe is absolutely fantastic! It offers everything from a great atmosphere to delicious food. I ordered the veggie omelet and a cup of coffee to boost my energy. The service was outstanding, and I also got my friend a Buffalo Chicken wrap, which she found to be delicious! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!
I don't even know where to start with this place. You wouldn't expect it to be so incredible, but it truly is. There are a lot of cafés in Baltimore, but this one really stands out. Above all, you must try the matcha latte. If you're feeling hungry, definitely go for the chipotle chicken sandwich or anything else on the menu, as everything is delicious. I will definitely be coming back to this place. Great food, excellent service—it's a perfect 10/10!
One thing that immediately makes David and Dad?s cafe stand out to me is the location and all the beautiful historic touches they?ve kept. Being in the building was great and I just kept taking more pictures. I?ll also say the service was friendly and quick. I ordered the Reuben and garden salad and they were both pretty good but the bread was a bit soggy and I?m used to more meat on a good Reuben. The garden salad was simply a garden salad which is good. Ultimately if I go back it will be for the atmosphere over the food but the food was not bad at all!
I don't know how this place doesn't have more reviews, but the food, service, and coffee ! are fantastic. It's nice to have a quick breakfast spot that offers a little table service because it made me feel welcome, and like I didn't have to rush. I got the pancakes and they were both huge and delicious. They rely on the honor system to get your self serve bottled and fountain drinks, and give you coffee in an actual glass mug if you eat in. It shows a lot of trust, which is amazing for building a loyal clientele. Prices are very reasonable $8 for pancakes and bacon probably the best bang for my buck I've found so far when it comes to breakfast in Baltimore. Oh! Plus being in an old bank headquarters built in 1895 also makes it one of the fanciest places to eat your quick weekday breakfast. Definitely check it out!
