Írjon visszajelzéstThe food quality is decent, and the service is good. While it’s a bit on the expensive side given the food quality, the location in Fells Point is lovely. The side dishes aren't particularly noteworthy. Overall, I would rate it a 3 out of 5 for the food.
The food was enjoyable, with the potato croquettes being my favorite. The ramen was decent as well, although I've had better elsewhere. The noodles are quite firm, which is a preference for many. Alex provided exceptional service; she was attentive to details and very helpful. I genuinely appreciated her efforts. The seating was ample, and the ambiance was pleasant for a ramen shop. As for vegetarian options, the vegan ramen was tasty, and the potato croquettes were delicious!
I've visited Kilpo several times, but during my latest trip, the broth just didn't have the same delicious taste as usual. It lacked flavor and there were a lot of chicken pieces in the noodles. I ordered the spicy shoyu while my partner opted for the regular shoyu, and we both felt that it was just average this time around.
Coming from Silver Spring Maryland is a good drive to get here, but it is worth it. This is one of those places you need to go back as a must-have for lunch dinner. I never had ramen as what I had at Kippo. They take to another level. I will come back here every time I am in the area!
I've never written a review before but I feel like I owe it to Kippo. I am a HUGE ramen lover, almost everywhere I travel I will try a local ramen place. Kippo has never been outranked from #1 on my list. I've been coming here with my boyfriend for the past six years and it never gets old. Fast service, welcoming staff, really cozy vibe inside, amazing food and sooo inexpensive!! Kippo, I love you, please never leave me. Btw...the chicken broth is good but the pork broth (specifically the spicy tonkotsu) is by far the best way to go, in my opinion.
