The Pheasant Lodge - Banbridge

I was visiting in Gilford last week and stopped in a few times at the pheasant bar and what a good time....thank you Estelle for your hospitality....you are great......quaint little pub with great atmosphere.... very clean and cozy....this is a must get too pub when in Gilford.....they do have entertainment one nite a week so you have to check......the patrons were nice and did i mention they have a pool table......i will be visiting gilford again soon and i will be stopping back for some good craic !

I have visited this restaurant several times over the years when I am in Gilford, and I must say I always have a great time! Estelle and Brian, the owners, are wonderful and make you feel right at home. The Guinness is cold and the Collins whisky is also excellent. The crowd is friendly, the atmosphere is nice, and the place is clean. While the other pubs in Gilford are nice as well, Lodge is my favorite by far! Cheers!

The meal we had was excellent, with generous portions and top-notch service. We also enjoyed some drinks. The special sirloin steak with all the trimmings for two, including dessert, was a great deal at £38. My chicken Maryland was huge and came with real chips. Thank you very much.
