The menu of this restaurant is intresting you also have the local dishes and many Asian dishes. You have korea's bulgogi, you have the North/souther Indian Beef/Mutton Curry, you also have Thai dishes served in coconuts, you also have Tapsilog and Cornedbeef rice. On the photo I had beef rendang nasi lemak.
Nice place to eat. I read it is usually overcrowded, but if we are there, we have found no problem getting a place. Delicious food. We tried the Sarawak Laksa (type of a noodle soup with some omelette and shrimp - we did not order it spicy and the Fried Lao Shu Fen Be with beef (type of a Yakisoba dish. Both were really good, especially the Fried Lao Shu Fen Be. We drank a citrus and a cucumenchia potion, both really good. The total price was 13.40 B$. Beautiful atmosphere with air conditioning, some music and western decoration. Menus, designed as newspapers, are in English and have photos of the dishes, so it is convenient for choosing a meal. The staff is friendly and fast.
The café always filled with people, so I decided to come. They serve good food, I especially love the eggcake. The price is also cheap. The hotel is located a bit far from the tourist area, I think this place is a must if you come Bandar Seri Begawan.
Always a favourite place for Malaysian cuisine though they offer a wider variety of cuisines (Japanese, Taiwanese, Indonesian, etc). Orders are written down in your own seating and brought to the counter along with payment. My recommendation: AYAM PENYET. Super crispy chicken though lack consistency as sometimes it's juicy and other times dry. Sambal has changed in taste from the last time I've been here which isn't negative as it's still tasty (you can opt for spicy or non spicy sambal). Rice has changed from plain rice to rice fried in oil which is a little more fragrant and fatty. PENANG CHAR KUEY TEOW. Noodles were QQ and had the char taste. However, it lacked the flavour from my last visit but still one of the top halal kuey teow in town. Honestly, I'd recommend ordering anything in the menu especially the desserts or special drinks. Everything's very well priced at their quality. Depending on the times you dine in, some items might not be available or run out pretty quickly as it can get very crowded during rush hour. The staffs were really friendly and the service was quick.
