Írjon visszajelzéstReally enjoyed our recent dining experience at the Edgewaters. We were staying overnight in Bandon near the marina. The Edgewaters was an easy and pleasant walk away towards the spit. Reservations are recommended so we were pleased that they were able to accommodate our reservation request on relatively short notice on a Friday night. We chose to eat in the upstair bar area which was very pleasant with a great view. Kellen was the bar tender and did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome, fixing up some awesome drinks (martini and a Hucktini that I really liked), and serving us a complete dinner. We both had a yummy clam chowder, 2 different salads both were fresh, crisp and tasty, and 1 order of the fried oysters light batter, fresh tasting and crispy. Although we came looking for seafood while we were there I heard the Steak Oscar is excellent, maybe next trip I'll give that a try? I had the opportunity to have warm even if brief encounter with the owners of the establishment and felt they are truly dedicated to making dinner an enjoyable and memorable event. Looking forward to a return visit!
Love this place. Gorgeous views of the bay, river and jetty. They always work hard to fit a person in even when busy. Waitstaff goes above and beyond to ensure dinner is delicious, correct. They will swap a few ingredients between dishes if one dinner has something I don't like. Been here many, many times despite not being a local.
$180 for two people. Prawn cocktail ? not fresh tasted like it was soaked in ice water. Warm goat cheese plate????? delicious. Wedge salad ? guess they rinsed it it was full of water. Halibut Special ? dry overcooked no seasoning very bland, so dry it gave me cottonmouth. Rice also needed salt so bland. My boyfriend ate his and mine he agreed it was dry and needed salt. However it was so beautifully plated. Atmosphere ?????. Wine ?????. Service ?????
I would have to say this was one the the best meals I've had in years the staff was extremely kind and generous which can be hard to find these days. The wine list is very extensive with many local favorites they also have a full bar, our drinks and appetizers were served very quickly and tasted amazing. the entrees were impressive as well the new york strip was prepared perfectly and the shrimp alfredo was the best I've ever tasted.
It's a must in Bandon. I think his one of the best meals I had in a while and the food options were all very unique. We had the seafood of Romesco, Rockfish and Chowder. All three were amazing! All three were perfect top-notch aroma combinations. Service was also really excellent. Definitely recommend this accommodation and also reservations because it is always busy.
