Írjon visszajelzéstI absolutely love Chinese roast duck, and despite this being a Vietnamese restaurant, their roast duck is one of the best I've ever had. I have been a regular customer here and always order their roast duck with garlic fried rice, occasionally trying their special fried rice. The roast duck is cooked perfectly, juicy and tender with just the right amount of melted duck fat that adds to the flavor. The crispy duck skin is my favorite part, perfectly crispy without being too hard, with a thin layer of melty duck fat that oozes with delicious flavor. The garlic fried rice is also delicious, simple and flavorful without too many ingredients to distract from the duck. My friend enjoys their crispy skin chicken with tomato rice, claiming it is better than other Vietnamese places. The chicken is juicy, the skin is crispy and the tomato rice is flavorful without being too wet. We have also tried their clear noodle soup and crispy gravy noodles with seafood and meat toppings, both of which were delicious and generously portioned. The noodles were crispy and the gravy helped soften them, adding moisture to the dish. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. Service is efficient and fast, with food coming out quickly although drinks may take a bit longer. The bill for two dishes and drinks usually comes out to around $25-$30, making it quite affordable. As a tip, you can ask for a complimentary bowl of chicken soup to help wash down your meal.
I have visited this restaurant multiple times. I highly recommend trying the crispy noodles with seafood or beef. A definite must-try is the garlic rice, especially when paired with pork or duck.
This is the best BBQ meat joint I have ever been to. I have to admit, I am not usually a huge fan of BBQ meats, but they are so delicious here, especially when paired with their signature garlic rice. You must try it when you're in Bankstown.
Very cheap and great eating. we had the crispy chicken with garlic rice and the duck with tomato rice. both were tasty, tender and juicy. my friend was here several times and I would definitely recommend it. it is a basic restaurant with... really good eating. some very friendly ladies run it. we had some boiled greens on request of my friend instead of the side salad that was not a problem. we paid $13 per head that contains a pot green tee
Hai yen is one of the local favorites that they are the best dee always consistent and not fat, but keep the juicy feeling of the flesh. the combination fried flat rice noodles is also very tasty highly recommended.
