Dunn's Deli - BANNER ELK

Quintessential dive deli. Haven't had a sandwich I didn't think was great. Could use a decorator's touch even w same style and a bit cleaner.

Love Dunn's deli! Best breakfast in town HANDS DOWN! filled French toast! Huge Croissants! Do not look further to get fat at breakfast. Also beer available! Wow!

Very good food, lots of options on the menu. The sitting area was a bit bare, couple of tables could use repair/replacing, but the staff was extremely freindly.

The place was a bit unkempt, but the food was delicious! I had the Otten Burger, which was fantastic. My girlfriend really liked the chili and salad, and my mom enjoyed the grilled chicken salad. With just two employees working, it was likely challenging to maintain cleanliness in the common area, including the tables and worn carpet.

If you're in Banner Elk, you definitely need to stop by Dunn’s Deli for a meal or to grab a beer! We visited for a quick breakfast as we were leaving town, and coincidentally, it was St. Patrick's Day, making it the perfect spot to celebrate. I had an incredible bagel sandwich with bacon (see the picture below), and I devoured a loaded croissant sandwich before I could even snap a photo! Both sandwiches were served hot and tasted fantastic—easily the best breakfast sandwiches we've ever enjoyed! The croissant was incredibly fluffy and buttery, perfectly pressed, while the bagel was super fresh. I only wish we had discovered this place sooner! We will definitely return and highly recommend Dunn’s Deli!
