Írjon visszajelzéstI stayed here in the spring of 2014 and absolutely loved it. I was looking to spend a week by myself, writing and reading and going for long walks, and Green Lodge was the perfect place for a DIY retreat. I didn't rent a car, just took a taxi from Bantry, and that worked out fine (I did WANT to feel like I was in the middle of nowhere! The owners are lovely and I felt like I got really good value for my euros. The cottages would be great for a family holiday as well.
This was my first time to stay in vegetarian friendly accusations, so I had no idea what to expect. the location is quite remote so I am grateful that we had a car. it was very peaceful and would be good if they wanted to escape from the noise. the place came to happiness with pots and pfannen plus crooked and flatware and above all salt and pepper. Before I arrived, I have a little to check and it said that laundry facilities are available, not exactly. While I was willing to dry my laundry, there were no laundry facilities available to do their own (note: texaco, which is close to washing machines and dryers available in the back of the parking lot) brenda was friendly enough to do our laundry for a small fee. the most disappointing aspekt by far were the beds, talking about stiff as a board. it would have been tolerable for a single night, but after several nights I was worried to get out of there. it was as if we were sleeping on box springs and someone forgot to bring us a sleeping bag or an air mattress.
What a pretty little bit of a good thing. we had everything we needed in our little hut, in beautiful green. chris showed us on our first evening with an impromptu tour through its impressive gardens and his wife gave us very friendly some fresh organic, homemade courgettes, basilikum and green beans so delicious! many thanks for a wonderful stay.
We were in the green lodge to explore west cork. we had a wonderful time. the lodge is clean and cozy. chris, the owner is great.
