Carla's - Baraga

This place is just like being at grandmas house. The food was yummy and the rooms were clean and cozy. The view of the bay is a huge plus as well! Carla also packed us a “breakfast” with juice donuts and rice crispy treat, a nice touch! ????

I honestly adore this place. Well worth what they ask to stay here. very cozy atmosphere. Gorgeous view of Lake Superior and you are treated with a sunrise over the lake in the morning. Cute patio area set up out front to watch it if you like, benches and chairs directly outside of your room if you prefer that! Very pleasant people. Gave our kids little bags for breakfast with juice and donuts and rice Krispy treats in them. They were very happy when they got up. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back!

The food at the restaurant was excellent. They were friendly and pleasant. The motel was good for the price, would stay here again.

The hospitality here exceeded my expectations. The owner, Carla knew I was traveling alone with my dog and she put a couple of miniature juices and a couple snacks in my room. This is the second time I’ve stayed here in the past 30 days. Carla is the sweetest lady and such a hard worker. The motel isn’t like a luxury hotel or anything but it has clean sheets, a fridge, microwave, and tv. Best of all it has a great view of the bay. Thank you Carla!!

Really glad we made a short detour and stopped here for dinner. The food was AMAZING! The pot roast and real mashed potatoes ????
