Bodega Lo Pinyol - Barcelona

Exceptional. Must visit! So many dishes it's hard to pick a favourite, specials or off the menu. Good wine selection and great atmosphere. Groups or intimate, whatever you're in the mood for... Even with a beer at the bar.

This lovely place is closing down! Hurry up and book a table before early Christmas 2022. After that, it will be shut down due to high rents. We were drawn into this fabulous place by the books we saw inside. Once inside we tasted delicious red wine of the house and Spanish cheese, smoked salmon etcetera. Excellent service by the young waitress, nice ambience with local people. So sad it will close down (due to gentrification? . It should have been able to fill this place with happiness for another hundred years. But no. Still glad we we were able to experience it. And, I highly recommend the vino de la casa. So good!

The waitress is precious and the food and vermut is always on point. I make an effort to come here any time in Barcelona. You have to try the Matrimonio and order some pan tumaca to have with it! Ok, also get the four anchovy fillets and eat them by themselves with a cold beer.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in barcelona. they have a very well selected wine list and bottle at a reasonable price as well as for sale.

Beautiful place in barcelona. family with gluten-free options available. they also have the option for menus in English. recommend to keep this for a glass.
