We ordered both the fried oyster plate for 18.00 and came with 2 abundant sides of tasty cans green beans and hover. The oysters were on the smaller size, but perfect and tasty roasted. You order at the counter_ they give you a summer and you go to find a seat when the food is ready - ca. 5-10 minutes, go back to the start window and pick up your order. Easy and efficient and even serve your wells drinks.
This restaurant made some major upgrades. The food was great. The interior has been expanded. I am hooked on the She Crab soup, adding an additional side of crabmeat.
If you're driving down 168, and you were looking for some very good seafood, this is the place to stop. They have recently remodeled and the restaurant area is beautiful. They have also added some outdoor venues that you can use for gatherings. I had the fish tacos and they were delicious and my Aunt had a fried oyster sandwich which she just loved. Definitely one of those gems, hole in the wall places, that you need to check out. We will be back as often as we can get there.
Great seafood spot. Good for a quick takeout stop or to stay and eat if you have the time. They have a small souvenir section and fresh seafood market. Everything in one stop.
Really good prices for their seafood. We tried the frog legs, mahi basket special, catfish sandwich, she crab soup, fried okra, hush puppies and green beans. Everything was really fresh, however the catfish and the frog legs lacked seasoning. The green beans were obviously from a can. The highlights were the soup, the hush puppies (really, really good hush puppies) and the fried okra. Overall an average little place, with some more flavor to their food this could be excellent, especially since they already have the fresh products and competitive prices.
