Marylin Piano - BARDOLINO

Unpolite from the start: no welcome, shove without excuses, laughing between each other about customers. You get fast the impression you annoy them...

Me and my partner visited Bardolino for Christmas get away and the bar was fantastic for drinks. We sat at the bar every night and Alex the owner was very attentive could not fault his service. Fresh pizza which was delicious was bought out Numerous time throughout our visit. We did not eat here but would highly recommend for drinks.

Although the concept was interesting, this place didn't seem to match my expectations when I arrived. The wine was reasonably priced and the place is set in a quiet street. However, the standard of service varied noticeably, with a young waiter busying himself and offering attentive service, while at the same time a young waitress seemed to drift around aimlessly. Under her watch some people left without ordering. In addition, it's largely quite touristy (yes, I know I was one).

Was a pleasant guy playing on the piano out front but the table snacks given were totally awful. Stale and not possible to eat. I understand the entertainer would need paying but the cocktails and beer is dearer than most other places

We had walked along the lake from Garda to Bardolino and were looking for lunch. We happened upon Marylin and approached a server for a table. Rather than bring us to a table, we were informed that we 'had to eat ' to get a table. It was extremely brusque and short. We explained we wanted lunch and a table was pointed to. Menus were dropped and we then sat for 10 minutes before anyone came back to take a drink order. It might not seem like a long time, but, considering the manner of our initial encounter, we opted not to stay.
