Panificio El Focacciaro - BARI

Friendly service (very little english spoken, but staff were still very helpful to identify veggie choices), casual vibe. Great focaccia, very popular with the locals.

Panzerotti, Barese focaccia, potatoes focaccia, fried vegetable, pizza.. you name it, they have it. And it's of excellent quality, as the long queue can prove. Definitely worth a visit

Great bakery. The time of opening in the afternoon is different from the online info and when we and other people entered they were still in the process of baking but despite that we had to wait everything was made at the moment, was very fresh and wonderfully delicious! We tried panzerotti before but theirs were out of the world! Simply superb! Try meat and mozzarella and, of course, classical ones with tomato and mozzarella. We also took focaccia and other couple of things to go (including homemade orecchiette) and all of it was splendid!

The focaccia was incredible. I can't find words to describe how good it was. Best focaccia I have ever tasted or am likely to taste. In common with a previous reviewer, we saw the queue outside this place which made us think it must be good and it was! We returned the next morning and every morning of our stay in Bari. Remember to take a ticket from the machine when you join the queue and don't worry, it's not a long wait to be served. Cannot recommend enough. One of the highlights of our visit.

Friendly staff, fresh focaccia with fresh delicious ingredients. Would recommend going for sure and not long to wait as the staff are onto it
