Angelo's Italian Eating Place - Barnet

Superb family Italian restaurant. the place is very small with about 7 tables, so they have to book if they want to go to the weekends. we started with the calamari and mozzarella with tomaten as appetizers. very nice introduction with large portions. I ordered the pollo del koch, the chicken breast was coated with cheese and eggplant in broth crumbs. it comes with potatoes with rosmarin, which was very tasty. my wife had the calf with mushrooms, cheese and ham. again very tasty and on the square. the whole meal reminded me of my time in rom with traditional house cooked meals. good service with helpful staff. very recommended and will soon return to taste the other dishes.

Beautiful, family-run restaurant. the lobster risotto is a favorite of me. small, personalized service, excellent eating and good wine selection. make sure they book at the weekend, as it is always packed.

Local. can not recommend enough, eating is very tasteful and traditional Italian. the prices are fantastic, although beware the portion size, they will not be able to eat 3 courses, 2 is a push. recommend to the house wine £12.50 a bottle and absolutely fantastic. it's not fine eating', but for a friendly relaxed atmosphere, great service, great eating and excellent worth it just over and over again!

Best in town. We've been regulars at Angelo's for several years and it's spoiled us for any other Italian restaurant The food is exceptionally good and the ambience unique. . Children are welcome and always seem well-behaved It's difficult to select a dish to recommend as they are all good. But you need a good appetite or exceptional self-control to eat a three course meal as the portions are generous Our favourites include any fish dish, the veal parmigiana and the home-made pannacotta It's a popular place and it's best to book.
