Papa John's Pizza - Barnsley

Haven't had pizza in years due to there being not many pizza places that offer vegan cheese on a pizza, without the whole pizza having to be vegan too. Decided to try papa John's and I'm blown away. The pizza is the freshest pizza I've ever tasted in my life, the base is so soft and the cheese is the best vegan cheese Ive ever had. Didn't have any of that nasty coconut foot taste that other vegan cheeses have, and the optional extra toppings I chose were plentiful and we're super fresh. The only downside is the cost but as a rare treat, there is no better option in my opinion.

2nd of two terrible take aways from crappa/papa Johns on both occasions the food arrived late and cold the cheese had semi- reset the base was soggy and stodgy as was the garlic bread, they also all stank of fat. The poppin chicken unpleasant to eat as they were cold. The order was not removed from the “hot bag” at the door as the food used to be, instead it was carried from the car to my door as said without any insulation to keep it warm? A total waste of hard earned money, needless to say we will definitely not be ordering from Crappa’s ever again Thanks!

Ordered at 23.15 and try to get in touch with the store for about 30 mins and noone answer. In this style you will lose all your customers

Absolute joke of a place! Placed my order online all went fine. Get email confirmation that my order has been placed. 5 minutes later I get an email saying something is wrong with my order please call the store. Phone just rings and rings, then someone picks up and puts it straight down again! Took my money but from what I can tell cancelled the order and then ignored. Will never order from this place again and I hope it goes busy very soon. Save your money and go else where. Deserves 0 stars!

Really poor experience from Papa Johns Barnsley. The food was over an hour late, cold and tasteless. Clear delivery instructions were given but I had to phone the driver 3 times to give extra delivery instructions as he kept hanging up on me! Eventually I had to go to collect the food. I have asked the manager for a refund in writing and been ignored! Really poor service, I’m still waiting for an apology and a refund
