Royal Spice - Barnsley

We didn't dine in at this restaurant, but instead ordered takeout for pick-up. The three main dishes we ordered (Chicken Rogan Josh, King Prawn Massala, Royal Mix) were quite average and tasted more like a pre-made curry from a jar rather than freshly cooked, authentic cuisine. As a result, we don't think we'll be returning to this restaurant in the future.

I had a fantastic dining experience at The Royal Spice and. our server, truly elevated the evening, The ambiance was delightful, very attentive service by the waiter coupled with his excellent knowledge of the menu, made our meal exceptional. The dishes were flavorful and expertly prepared, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. I got food poisoning from eating here. I found tubes in some chicken pieces and the chicken was undercooked. Even though I live only a 3-minute drive away, my food arrived cold. This place is absolutely awful and should be closed down. It's been consistently bad the last four times I've eaten here. The food was delivered promptly, but unfortunately the chicken was overcooked and the onion Bhaji did not come with yogurt sauce. The chapati was not fresh and the garlic bread lacked cheese. I was very dissatisfied, especially considering I paid £31.50p. I should have chosen to dine at Alams Lounge instead.

I went to tip the waitress and the waitress said to me that she doesn’t get to keep the tips which is so shameful for a restaurant to keep the workers tips!
