The Buttercup Cafe - Barnstable

First time to Cape and we landed at this charming breakfast restaurant. Perfect for a Sunday brunch or breakfast while vacationing. Various breakfast plates reasonably priced and just right serving sizes made this place good for us. Waitress was friendly but very busy which made our wait longer than needed. Coffee was rich, complex and made our am meal splendid. Go today for a welcoming venues while in the Cape. Go today!

Im a Cape Cod local and this place is a newer cafe that was on my list to try. Let me start by saying this little cafe is SO CUTE. Pros: They sell quality Cape Cod Coffee. They have a good size breakfast and lunch menu that gives you options, but not too many options. Their waitstaff was excellent and very friendly. Both indoor and outdoor seating was available. Finally, their selection of baked goods looked TO DIE FOR. Cons: It?s definitely a smaller place, eventhough it?s a sit down restaurant. The prices are fair, but not the cheapest around. The food was very good, but definitely didn?t blow my mind away. As shown in the pictures, we got: The Brunch Burger with parm fries The MonteChristo Sandwich with parm fries A side of the Triple Berry French Toast The burger was pretty good. Just a burger with an egg on it, so nothing special. The sandwich was loaded with meat. Fair warning it was a little salty but I lovesalt. And the French toast was just some French toast, can?t really go wrong.

Can?t recommend this diner enough. Fresh ingredients, incredible flavors and such a wholesome meal! The pancakes and omelette are to die for. Definitely custom make your omelette and you?ll not ne disappointed. The bread is drenched in butter just like how your grandma made it.

My new FAVORITE breakfast spot. Delicious coffee specials, brunch combos, bakery items, and lovely servers. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely love this place! This cafe was clean and was decorated very cute. I got the commissioner plate and it was so tasty. So much food for a good price. Pancakes were especially good! They were a perfect size and the flavor was amazing. Highly recommend this place! :
