The Mexican House Commerce - Barrie

The tacos are unrealistic here. I was looking for a Mexican place that does Tacos justice (as I moved to Simcoe in December 2021) and this place does it. I had the chicken tacos, ceviche tostadas, barbacoa and the steak tacos. First of all, when you order the 3pc Tacos, the restaurant allows you to mix and combine flavors that is a profit. And you can buy the ceviche tostadas by the single piece. By far, my favorite was the Lambbarbacoa. Everything was so tasteful and the staff is friendly. I drive the 20 minutes from Innisfil, EASY, if it means that I eat the amazing Mexican food that I have believed for over a year

I’m seriously addicted to The Mexican House!! The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the staff are super friendly. I recommend this place to anyone looking for flavourful and authentic Mexican food. Thank you for always serving up amazing food in such a welcoming environment!!

The server was so friendly and chill. He recommended a few dishes which we loved as it was our first time there. The tacos were good and tortillas freshly made, but the winner for us was the burrito with housemade habanero oil. Probably one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. Makes the bigger Mexican chains pale in comparison!

I just happened to see the listing on Google maps and thought we’d check it out. So glad we did!! The portions are huge, food is delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly. They are very accommodating for a vegetarian diet, we had the enchiladas with veggies and it was very tasty. We left stuffed and had leftovers! Can’t wait to go back.

The food on offer continues to be delicious, plentiful and very fairly priced. We ordered lunch today, and even though we knew it would be a bit longer with it being May 5, they still gifted us with samples of some of their other dishes by way of an apology, which was not needed at all. They continue to be one of our favorite family run eateries, and we are very happy that they have continued to operate. Come hungry, and whatever you do, never forget to order the churro donut.
