Pizza Hut - Barrow-in-Furness

We visited this restaurant for an early dinner on a Sunday, so it wasn't too crowded. The service and selection of food met our expectations and we had no complaints. We were actually so satisfied with our first visit that we returned again while on holiday in the area. Despite it being a bit busier the second time, we still enjoyed our pizza. The prices were reasonable and we appreciated the complimentary bowl of salad that came with our meal.

We went for the lunch time buffet, it was freshly made Salad and the trimmings plus just baked Pizza, my favourite Pepperoni of course.....plenty pasta and all good tasting.

Four of us dined at this restaurant. The waitress was prompt in taking our order, but the food took a while to arrive. The pizzas and starters were delicious. However, we noticed our side order of fries was missing after almost finishing our main course. It took a long time for the fries to be brought to us, and we felt that the price we paid for them was not justified. The restaurant was not busy that night.

Decided to have a takeaway from here last night whilst up in Barrow on business. I ordered what I wanted, and was very pleasantly surprised to have the lady at the till then put through my order and explain to me that she had done it so that my sides and drink would be much cheaper and part of a deal that I hadn’t spotted. Whilst all this is on expenses, it is still really helpful to me to be able to keep costs down and show my client that is what I’m doing. I strongly recommend this place for anybody eating on tight budget expenses.

Having checked their website for offers and deciding to take advantage of the Monday-madness offer of 2 for the price of 1 deal, it was irritating that the member of staff dealing with takeaway orders did not know about nor was it on their menu/leaflets at the counter. Another member of staff eventually assisted and had heard of it so my order was placed. The pizzas took approx 15 minutes to arrive and were tasty.
