Írjon visszajelzéstCame here for fish n chips twice during Easter holiday. We tried fish n chips, lamb souvlaki (super yum) and beetroot salad, everything was fresh, well prepared and delicious. Only complain was they charge $1 for each of the tomato sauce cups even when I ate in.
Small eatery around the corner.<br/ <br/ Have tried their fish chips, calamari salad and grilled fish with Greek salad.<br/ Food is fresh and well presented. Servings are quite generous and economically priced. They have a good collection of crafted beers too. <br/ <br/ Overall happy with their service : <br/ <br/
Fresh fish and generous servings. Chips were golden and crunchy just the way they should be. Although asked for extra vinegar and tasted almost like water.
I had the delicious fish burger. It was full of flavour and they even had a gluten-free bun (the bun was not on the menu so it was a nice surprise). The fresh pineapple juice had plenty of zing. My partner had grilled fish and chips. It was a good size piece of fish. Staff were accommodating.
Mangroves recently opened after Gilligan 's Fish and Chips closed down last year. Seeing the changes, we were hopeful for an exciting new restaurant in BH! Although they call themselves a 'Bar and Grill '; Mangroves is really just the same fish and chip shop, with new owners. They have a larger range of alcohol and a more inventive menu, however.<br/ <br/ The place was a shambles when we arrived and the table we reserved, was not. The staff did their best to accomodate our large group, but everything was a bit all over the place.<br/ <br/ I had the grilled calamari, which was nice, however the salad underneath had no dressing and was really just plain rocket and onion very bland. Others said their fish and chips were ok, others said the fish was very dry.<br/ <br/ So overall not a great experience, but we will probably be back to try it again.
