Union Kitchen - BASALT

The Brussels sprouts were excellent, and the meat on the chicken and ribs was tender. I would give it five stars, but the seasoning was too heavy and salty. I had to scrape off the spices from the ribs and take the seasoning off the chicken.

Since its opening, we've been regular visitors to this restaurant. They offer a fantastic brunch on weekends. I highly recommend trying the roasted okra, mac and cheese, and various salads. The kids absolutely love the grilled sandwiches. The meat combos are quite hearty as well. They've recently updated their menu, but it's still very family-friendly and local. I'm excited to try their new lobster mac and cheese!

If I had been overly concerned about my budget, I would have just stayed home, eaten some grains, and focused on managing my investment portfolio. When I go out to eat, I expect great food and excellent service, and I definitely found both of those at this restaurant yesterday. I ordered the Ahi Tuna BLT, while my friend had a cheeseburger, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The impressive variety of delicious options on the menu also gave off a vibe reminiscent of BBQ days (which we were previously unaware of). I will definitely return.

We enjoy our visits to Smoke in Basalt. The ambience is great, the service is always on the point that adding food is consistently delicious! The beans and the burned end Mac and cheese are our favorites, and my daughter LOVES the pulled pork sandwich. This place is always a winner for us.

Great little spot I visited for a bite to eat before driving 8 hours the other way. Stopped in mid day and it wasn't busy at all. Had a pretty cool waiter have him a nice tip. If I'm in the area I'll check back in.
