Beacon Public House

Beautiful pub with amazing staff who made me feel at ease. Unfortunately, it will be closing its doors at the end of November.

The staff was delightful and it's a fantastic spot to stop by.

I had a fantastic lunch with my child after swimming at this wonderful pub. The atmosphere, the staff, and the service were all excellent.

Given its good reviews I was expecting good things at this pub, but it was dissappointing. The staff were friendly and reasonably attentive, but the food was distinctly average not bad enough to complain, but not good enough to inspire a return visit. The dining area is separate from the bar area and has no atmosphere. Although the tables were clean there was dropped food on the carpet I appreciate that when busy, staff don't always have time to clean properly, but when things quieten down they should be able to catchup.

Another banging Sunday roast in The Beacon. Great value for money and great service in this lovely friendly pub. I visit regularly with my wife and mother in law and we are never disappointed. Highly recommend .
