This pub is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and great value for money. The landlady was so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was lovely, and I appreciate that it is child and dog friendly. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family and will be returning soon.

My daughter and I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The menu had a great variety of choices and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming, especially for families with children. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the restaurant was pet-friendly, as a customer even brought their dog along. The food portions were generous - I enjoyed the lasagna with chips and garlic bread, while my daughter had a hot dog that was only £1 for the half term special. We finished our meal with delicious desserts, including banoffee pie and chocolate brownie. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant throughout the year.

Strange atmosphere here. Boozy and menacing. Not a place to bring your kids. Food was o.k but no better than average.

Just collected take away fish n chips from The Crown, Normanton on Trent Absolutely stuffed as portions extremely generous and fish really light and battered to perfection Really friendly atmosphere, had a quick drink while waiting for food and everyone friendly and welcoming. Landlord even made an effort to talk to the customers and make them feel welcomed to the establishment Would highly recommend the food and the pub for a friendly drink x

We reserved a spot at The Crown for a memorial service for my late father, as it was one of his favorite pubs from years ago. Although the pub had recently changed ownership, the new owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. The booking process was seamless and they were more than willing to fulfill any requests to ensure the day went smoothly. They organized a fantastic buffet for the occasion, which was not only generous but also great value for money. The homemade pizzas were particularly popular among the guests. The venue itself is pleasant, clean, and well-stocked. There is also a fantastic children's play area and a lovely beer garden out the back, perfect for enjoying a sunny afternoon. We will definitely be returning for a drink or meal and are excited to see the new team continue to improve and grow the business.
