The Grand Eastern - Bath

Excellent all round top notch. Group of around 15 on a work night. Superb service as you’d expect, but many variables within the order and all dishes delivered perfectly. Critically it tasted wonderful And I felt superb the next day. Highly recommended Really quirky decor aswell! Tune the piano!

Nice restaurant with lovely decor inside, nice staff but was let down by the curry. There were 5 of us out and all of us felt that the curry was very very salty so unfortunately didn’t really enjoy the meal

Here met some friends for lunch on New Year's Day. nice eating, good option for me vegan and gluten-free. I had the big nut roast with a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. beautiful personal, good atmosphere. my only suggestion would be that there would be more veg.

Friendly staff, tried their best to my being vegan, except this took 5 separate talks throughout the hour or so spent there. they just didn't know what vegan meant or what was on their menu vegan. after all the effort has found out that no beer from bath ales vegan is friendly, so consumption / on the use of animal products independent! (checked with barnivore.com excellent website! also as the bohnenburger came with (not vegan beer ruined wobble rings also. we did not go on a Sunday, so we did not mention the frying of the previous review, honestly it would not bother trying it if it is a weekday! so, all in all, helpful staff, not really any vegan food / drinks without much up! updated from the previous review to 2017 07 24

Pub food. heavy, but very well done. the young are running the show. I think the server and the manager? this place has history!
