The cheesestick was tough and the cookie was overcooked
Drive 8 hours from tx to lsu for arriving freshman and tiger 2, noticeing that gps are there at 9:05 (5 minutes after closing. from monroe, home of johnny, we always eat it when we can. So I called and asked the nice lady who answered the phone when I ordered and paid, she could wait 5 minutes until I get there, she said honey I'm sure that's not a problem, but let me ask the manager. the answer was to rob her. she told me he was not just the manager, but the owner, and he stood before her shooking head-no. so in the position to order it at 6:30 and already wait less than 5 minutes to pick it up? this is not only against the mind of the men johnny, but a bad example for his employees and deprives his staff of a rather big tipp! (I am sure he would have razed them and made their stay.
The pizza is good. the management is difficult, however, unskilled. I often hang up when I order because of their inability to take it. I also often look up to find out that they never put my order or cooked my pizza. that happened again and I hope the owners read this. ridiculous.
It cheats me to give johnnys a little less than 5 stars. that said this place deserves exactly 1 star. I'll give it two stars now. the service was absent and the quality lacked well before covid. at the time of writing it is even worse. Nevertheless, I still give this location a chance and they regularly fulfill basic expectations. the employees regularly go around, the service is terrible, and the order mixes are common. it took an hour to make my simple cheese party pizza. while I waited because the first pizza was not right, while the restaurant was not busy at all. the phones are often left ringing and online ordering is often down. this is not a unique event, but a consistent pattern. please do it better. we all need you to come.
