Handmap Brewing - Battle Creek

Once in a while, you run into a brewery that is knocking it out of the park. Handmap fits that description to a T . The Otis BA Saison blew me away. But the star of the show was the BA Battle Creek Russian Imperial Stout. I was flawless. One of the best I 've had in 35+ years. And the pickle pizza? Wow! Thanks Chris and Jennifer. Walking into this place felt like home.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Had a band the night we were there. Beer, service, food and entertainment were all great! I'll be back.

Here is one of the hidden gems in Battle Creek. If you are looking for a drinkable brew, this is your place. The inside of the brewery is awesome. It is in a lower level of the building so it has stone walls and a bar fit the theme. The brewery does have live music that they post in their Facebook page. The service has that home town feel that you are welcome there. The pizza. What I can say about the pizza is spectacular!! I highly recommend you try Handmap Brewery.

So we wanted to try the breweries in battle creek cause we heard great things. We stop at this place called the handmap, and I’m not kidding, never again!!!! We drove 3 hours to check this place out and the girls behind the bar were so rude. We asked for samples to try their beers and the girls were getting annoyed, mind you there are four of us who never been here, the the one waitress pawns us to another because we were asking questions about the beers? Like you work at a brewery if you can’t answer questions for your customers you should not work at one!!!!!! Horrible experience and NEVER AGAIN!!!!! New holland brewery by far was the best!!!!! At least they were happy to answer our questions that we bought beers and bourbons to take back to chicago!!!!!
