Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

1) The shrimp were anything but crispy; they were soggy. 2) They were also overcooked. 3) The two hush puppies looked more like fried oysters and were mushy and overdone. On the bright side, the cake was good, but the side of red beans and rice was dry. I understand that it's tough to find help right now, but it was clear that the cooking staff needed better training. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I paid just under $13 for a 5-piece chicken meal, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The fries were soggy and lacked crispiness, while the chicken was overcooked and quite small. This was my first and last visit to Popeye's.

The menu board is still malfunctioning, as mentioned in the previous review. I read several reviews while I was waiting, and I almost left because the service was extremely slow. However, the food was fresh and delicious since it was made fresh while I waited. I received four pieces of chicken, but there wasn't any honey provided. The staff were friendly and better than the ones at the Kalamazoo Popeyes. It's unfortunate that Popeyes seems to have some operational issues.

Much better than both the battle creeks KFC restaurants. also much better than battle creeks chic-fil-a. the waiting time is not worth more than 10 minutes. for fast eating it is kind of expensive, but soo worth it! they pack all sauces without asking!

We tried Popeye's Chicken for the first time this year. Boy have we been missing out on some good chicken! I don't understand why they don't have root beer as a fountain drink choice or orange they have some type of strawberry soda that I'm sure doesn't sell well. I've tried their mashed potatoes and the Cole slaw both delicious. Their biscuits are really good, too. The only problem we have had is understanding the staff at the Columbia Rd. Location in Battle Creek. While they are all professional, they have thick accents. I was a teacher for 30 years so I'm pretty good with accents, but I struggle to understand a couple staff members. We have returned and eaten there a few times. We get the mild chicken acid reflux dictates mild. We will definitely be back for more chicken!
