Found on google while passing through the area and decided to go 20 minutes out of the way to give them a try. First I will say the location and atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant and bar are large and accommodating and the outdoor area is very nice as well. Hard to beat a waterfront restaurant. The service was also a positive point as our waitress was friendly, prompt and attentive. Then came the negative. We ordered pretzel bites and fried pickle chips to start. The pickle chips were very good. The pretzel bites were disappointing as they were just the cheaper bagged pretzel nuggets you find anywhere and for 13 the portion was small. I get food cost percentages and all but that was just sad. The club sandwich was also disappointing as the lunch meat was cheap and slimy and the fries were soggy. My wife’s wrap wasn’t too bad and the kids meals, while cheap and low grade, did satisfy the kids. I understand times are tough but up the quality...even if you have to charge a few more. I’d have gladly paid 2- 3 more per plate if the quality was there but it just wasn’t.
