Indi Garden - Bearna

Ordered a takeaway as heard good reviews. Unfortunately, was very disappointed. The Biriyani sauce contained only 3 pieces of vegetable. The Tikka Masala had about 5 pieces of chicken. Will not be back.

This Indian takeout restaurant offers a standard menu and is the only one in the vicinity of Inveran. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

The food at this restaurant is always delicious. They offer a variety of Indian dishes that are well-prepared and flavorful. The sag aloo is a popular choice, and the lamb is especially tasty. There are plenty of vegetarian options available as well. While they don't have tables or offer delivery, it's definitely worth driving to pick up your meal.

Having lived in India, Pakistan and Afghanistan had the opportunity to sample great authentic dishes, as well as enjoying cooking Indian food myself. Can say Indi Gardens take away is extremely impressive for customer/delivery service, choice, dishes and price and to be highly recommended. Just a shame they don't have a restaurant as would certainly visit if so! Happy customer, Furbo, Galway.

We ended up stopping in here after a long day of travelling and rush hour blocked us from getting into City Center of Galway for dinner. This little place is right down the street from the Twelve Hotel and so we stopped in and ordered while letting traffic pass us by. It is truly takeout only as there is nothing but a couch inside to sit and wait for your food, and most people ordered and left and then came back when their food was ready. The flavors were amazing and the sauces were better than I had had at any Indian restaurant I can remember. We started with vegetable fritters (which they gave us as a free add on for the delay in our order , BBQ shrimp, and an onion dish. Our main dishes were green chilli chicken (which I loved but my wife wouldn't eat as she said it was too spicy , red curry prawns, red curry lamb, mixed byriani (sp? rice, and garlic naan. I would have happily licked each plate it was so good. I would choose coming here for take out over some of the restaurants we had been to in the area.
