Le Panoramique - Beaufort

Nothing more to say than it's a must. On the Glacier. Fine dishes and wines, very good service and views. It is better to make reservations because the place is pretty busy. On Thursday evening they have a special night with the way back to skiing

I can't understand the bad reviews of this restaurant. We visited it during a two-day stay in Arêches. The staff is charming, the food is simple, but freshly prepared and plentiful. We had lunch in another restaurant on the mountain the day before. It was very recommended to us, but it was just terrible. We will visit the Panoramique at our next visit.

Prices were high, but reasonable in view of the situation and lack of other options. If the restaurant could not use bathroom and had to use the public bathroom that was not pleasant. Food and service was ok

The midday formula is good, I enjoyed the Morteau sauce with potatoes and farmland fresh cheese with blackberry jam. Price is reasonable. But no toilets (needed to go to the public) and no freshwater ... this is a bit a problem in a developed country. Bottom line: nothing outstanding, but no disappointment for a friendly lunch (except the water problem).

Good local food, well prepared and served although you need to book at the height of the ski season in particular half term). Service generally good although with seasonal staff this can and does vary. Very reasonably priced given the location
