Roland's Barbecue - Beaufort

Rolands offers the finest food at unbeatable prices! Their seafood dishes are incredible! My kids absolutely loved the fried shrimp. The BBQ and fried chicken are both fantastic, and you definitely can’t miss the banana pudding!

The food was mediocre, and the service was practically nonexistent. I called ahead to order a pork sandwich combo with an extra side of fries, but when I arrived, I had to struggle to get the attention of staff who were too engrossed in their phones to acknowledge me. To make matters worse, I didn’t receive the extra fries I ordered, even though they were listed on my receipt. I assumed they were preparing my drink, so I waited for a while before finally asking about it. They simply pointed me to a dispenser for foam cups. Overall, I was not impressed.

We hosted a unit party for 55 people and ordered food from Rolands. The BBQ, chicken, and sides were exceptional. If you're looking for poor service and mediocre food, go elsewhere. But if you want fantastic food and service at an unbeatable price, this is the spot for you. Thank you for helping us make today a wonderful experience!

The quality of the food has declined recently. The hot bar has not been functioning properly for some time. My side dishes were cold, including the Brunswick stew. The hushpuppies seem to be kept in a steamer or something similar, as they are often rubbery. I'd recommend ordering the seafood (unless it's from the hot bar), since it's made fresh to order.

This is the best NC barbecue I've ever had. The prices are very affordable, and the coleslaw is just right. The menu offers a variety of options, including chicken and seafood. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying themselves. The atmosphere is friendly, clean, and ideal for families.
