Wren Bistro - Beaufort

I had an excellent experience with the very large special chicken sandwich, which was quite impressive. The fries were also generous in size, although they were served in a smaller portion. This place is great for sharing a lunch, as the portions are substantial. I definitely plan to come back for a lunch with friends. I've heard that their dinners are quite good as well. However, I noticed that the area behind the bar was messy, which detracted from the overall atmosphere and made a negative impression.

This charming little bistro in downtown Beaufort is located right across from the library. I took away two stars because my dinner was not served hot. I ordered the meatloaf and tomato bisque, and while I'm sure the food was hot when it was prepared, it arrived in heavy china bowls that were cold. By the time I received my meal, it was barely warm. I believe the cold bowls absorbed the heat from the food. It would be a good idea to warm the china first! The seating arrangement felt a bit too close for my liking, as I could easily overhear conversations from nearby tables. However, the food was very good, and overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

I couldn 't get photos pre-diving in! We were hungry. This place is pretty good. During our visit to Buford/Hunting Beach, we stopped here for a light dinner. I had the garlic shrimp sharable plate and the not so ordinary Caesar salad. My partner incrime had steak fries; he said it was pretty good . I would come back again.. especially for the bread!!!

The food is upscale, the atmosphere is metro chic, and there are cozy nooks that provide privacy. The wait staff is attentive, and the prices are quite reasonable. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience! Deciding what to eat is a challenging choice that definitely deserves more than one visit. Highly recommend!

It was our first visit. the food was wonderful and well presented. we had the salmon and crispy flounder. service was excellent. our server was sweet and attentive. the atmosphere was festive and warm, and we will always return!
