Had the three course prefix for $35. Complete steal for what's on offer. Wine list has been reduced quite a bit, but overall well balanced with a few good picks. Will be back soon!

I enjoyed the Restaurant very much. I brought 7 others for a very enhoyable Birthday celebration. It was so nice I decided to bring another friend to introduce her to the Inn. We were not able to sit in the restaurant but had to sit in the bar area. It was much too light for dinner, the tables were close together, the menu was limited we still enjoyed it only not nearly what was expected.

Great service, attentive without being intrusive. Pianist playing in the dining room. Excellent butternut squash soup. Steaks were good, steak sauce a little sweet but who puts steak sauce on a top quality steak? Would have preferred more of the herb butter that came with the rolls rather than sauce. Accompanying vegetables were a good assortment including roasted parsnips and brussel sprouts. Certainly no need to order aditional side of vegetables. I would of liked them to be a little hotter. Steaks were very good. Two double lamb chops were a substantial serving. Would have liked them more rare but then most people would like them medium. The star of the meal was the dessert tapas. They would outdo anything in LA or San Diego. Included were a tart tropical sorbet that was a good refreshing contrast to the dark chocolate mousse, creme brulee, beignet with warm chocolate sauce and a great apple gelle. A good experience out in Cherry Valley.

Dating can be a challenge in picking a place. My Date and I dined in the quaint little bar off the side to the main room. The atmosphere was wonderful, staff was friendly, and the meal was excellent! The lavender inspiration was a neat touch and hearing the history was memorable. My date and I were even speaking on behalf of making and evening to stay the night in this mini peaceful getaway. Total thumbs up. Great for new daters... :

My fiance, David Guzman, has already emailed and addressed our issues we had with our waitress. The only thing I would add is what happened to the bread butter or a glass of water? Why did we have to ask for our glass of wine that comes with the meal? It was not offered. And the mashed potatoes had no flavor Was disappointed this time.
