Hooked - Beaver Creek

The best sushi I've ever had! The whole fish experience was fantastic, and they serve excellent sake. I've visited twice, and both times were wonderful!

Hooked used to be one of our favorite restaurants in the BC/Vail ski area. Unfortunately, despite knowing the owner and visiting every year, our recent experiences were disappointing. We were seated next to the restroom, received poor service multiple times, and the enjoyment of dining at Hooked has faded. If you check other reviews, you'll notice a similar trend, which is why we've decided not to spend our money or time there anymore. It's really disappointing.

Great kids' meal! After spending $30 on some disappointing chicken fingers at the top of the mountain, everything at the base suddenly felt so much more reasonable and affordable! My child had a cheeseburger, which seemed to be at least half a pound, accompanied by a generous portion of fries! The oysters were outstanding—absolutely delicious! Overall, it was a fantastic lunch with a solid wine list. I would definitely consider skipping lunch for my kid on the mountain just to enjoy a meal here after a day of skiing!

I want to start positive, the service was great and the ambiance is cozy. My favorite was the Glühwein 17 was a little steep though. We came for lunch and ordered a burger and poke bowl for adults and sushi for our son. The Poke bowl was tiny!! For 36?! I was still hungry after. My son enjoyed the sushi, but also was still hungry after so we ordered him a kids burger which sadly was hard as a brick and burned. My recommendation is stick to the sushi here. Just expect to dash a little of cash. We know beaver but for what you get it's not reasonable.

Horrible management. Was told that they gave our table reservation to an upset party. Given option to sit at sushi bar or wait 1.5 hrs. Sushi bar cramped. Ruined entire evening. Manager said i will take care of you that meant marginal service and a comp $9 dessert. Very poor experience compared to prior visit
