City Barbeque - Beavercreek

I absolutely LOVE this place. Everything I've ever ordered has been great. The smoked meat is so good. The corn pudding, baked beans, greens, etc. I bought a pound of pulled pork and pulled chicken. I can not express enough how much I love the food here. Please consider adding pulled beef to your menu.

Smoked turkey was excellent with sweet bbq. Green beans were great. Corn pudding casserole was AMAZING!!! Peach cobbler was enormous and excellent. I'm dreaming about the corn pudding tho.

First time visit and it was remarkable. I placed my order and I was on my way out in less than three minutes. When I got home I handed out everyone's food and to my surprise everyone's order was there. I have to say that the ribs and they brisket was the best that I have eaten since I left Texas 45 years ago to include my own. The service and the quality was outstanding. This is the best restaurant that I've been to since I moved here from Virginia last year. I will definitely be returning here.

First trip to this location and even though it was Father's Day and the place was busy, the service was really quick and everyone seemed focused on the customers. Food was excellent. I had smoked turkey and the pitmaster did that fowl to perfection. Nice smoke and still moist slices that had a great texture. Her pulled pork was over flowing th he bun. Green beans and potato salad were both great. Not very far from I675 and it worth the detour.

Stopped in for dinner the other day. It wasn't crowded, and the food came quickly. Unfortunately, most of the meat dishes were Luke warm, and the sides of corn pudding and mac and cheese were not much warmer. The fries were hot and fresh, so that was a nice surprise. Service was good, nothing spectacular as it stops when they call your name to come get your food. This is after you self-service your drink, utensils, and condiments. So basically, after you pay and pick up your food, there is no service. The reason for 3 stars is this; all 3 of us got the 2 meat platters, and a side, with a drink, this came to a shocking $86. None of the drinks were adult beverages either! I'm sorry, but at nearly $30 per plate, I'd expect better service and hot food. I will not be back for these 2 reasons.
