Lux Cafe - Beckley Rd, Battle Creek

I had The Farmer scrambler. It was sooo good! The service was on point, the waitress was great! The restaurant was very clean. I would visit probably every day, if I wasn't living in Ohio!

Introduced to me by my sister and brother-in-law, this restaurant is deceptively unassuming looking both outside and in. Though it looks modest, the food and wait staff are anything but. I've been here three times (all for breakfast) now and can say that on each visit our server was polite and attentive. The menu has a wide selection of meals, especially breakfast. There are omelettes, scramblers, skillets, sandwiches, fou5r different types of eggs Benedict and from the griddle, a tasty variety of pancakes, French toast, waffles and crepes. Everything we've ordered has been excellent. I've had the Mexican skillet, Irish and house (pictured) omelets and have been pleased with all of them. I've chosen pancakes twice instead of toast and they are awesome. If you're in the area and hungry I would highly recommend.

The food was delicious, and the waitress was attentive. Overall, it was a great experience. We also had a large party of 16.

Here for a cheer competition, decided to try a local diner for me those are usually the best. Walked in it was pretty busy people standing and sitting everywhere there was a please wait to be seated sign with a young lady standing behind a podium she looked at me smiled I looked at her smiled I was standing next to a couple. She didn't say anything and was talking to another lady working there so I patiently waited for sometime before asking the couple if they had been helped already not sure why the greeter wouldn't actually greet or welcome I mean so many people are in from out of town they have no clue how your establishment works....I greet her and she adds me to the list. My waiter was amazing and friendly. The food was deff over hyped....bacon good eggs good .....how do u have a breakfast spot but can't make good pancakes to save your life um no back to drawing board!

Met a friend here, one of her favorite places. I see why! Had a delicious chicken salad on a croissant, with soup and fruit. Fresh delicious, with hearty portions thatleft some to go. Very happy with their broad selections on menu, reasonable prices and great service! Will definitely be returning.
