Five Guys - Beckley

The location was very clean. Staff are very polite and prompt in service. The burgers and fries were fresh and tasted great.

I would like to begin by saying that I rate this place as 4.5 stars of 5 but Google Maps don't let me add the additional half star. My father and I stayed here on a rainy Saturday when we were both in the mood for a good cheeseburger. From all fast food facilities in or near Beckley West Virginia, this is our favorite place for a cheeseburger. The portion sizes were generous and the food quality was excellent. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was immediately and polite when ordering. The manager was observed to work throughout the restaraunt while also doing rounds through the lobby to make sure everyone was okay and see if they needed anything. The men's bath was very clean and freshly visited (we were in numerous other restaurants in this area where we felt as if we needed a tetanus shot and a round of antibiotics before even entering the bathroom... You know what I mean).

Their food is excellent! Their prices are ridiculous! $36 for 2 single cheeseburgers, fries, and 2 drinks !

This is the best burger joint I've been to. The place is spotless, and the staff is exceptional—truly the best anywhere. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but that’s because they don’t use a freezer or microwave. Everything is made from scratch; the potatoes are freshly cut, and the beef is never frozen but formed into patties on-site. The toppings are all fresh, some even sourced locally, and prepared right in the back. The quality of the food justifies the higher prices—it’s absolutely worth it. I've never seen a commercial kitchen as clean as this one.
