So... we are in a global pandemic everyone is suppose to be extra attentive to bodily fluids. The memo has NOT been received at the Beckley, WalMart. The restroom was the absolute most disgusting place I have ever been. Three of the restrooms had feces smeared on the lids. Two doors didn't even lock and there was toilet paper everywhere. In the sink there was a liquid, I think that looked like throw up dried in the sink. So I obviously walk out because well it was disgusting as well the smell was unexplainable. I go to the restroom in the back of the store. The entire way there spraying myself with hand sanitizer. Well to the back... it was not as bad but still was awful. Now I get people are nasty and they show just how nasty in public restrooms. But please have a cleaning crew I can't imagine being an employee and having to use any of those bathrooms. Again, all I see at WalMart is signs to social distance wear a mask wash your hands. Well if you are so worried about a pandemic and health why are you not keeping your restrooms somewhat usable. This is really nasty and unacceptable.
I absolutely love the rotisserie chickens; they never fail to come to the rescue!
The food they serve is excellent. However, it’s unfortunate that you have to walk to the back of the store to find out if there are any cooked dishes available.
I would give this store a zero if possible. I had an awful experience here. I attempted to make a return at customer service for a purchase I made earlier that day using my debit card, and I had my receipt. Supervisor Sarah completely ignored my wait and continued chatting with two other employees. Eventually, she called me over and asked what I wanted. I explained that I wanted to return a few items and handed her the receipt. I requested a merchandise card so I could buy different items in the store instead of waiting 3 to 4 business days for a refund to be credited back to my card. She flatly refused, saying it was too late and there was nothing she could do. She didn't pay any attention to my request. I expressed that this was unacceptable and asked to speak to the store manager, but she told me the manager wasn't there that day and that no one could assist me further because she was merely following policy. Her attitude was extremely rude; she treated me like I was insignificant and acted like a bully. After handing me the return receipt, she turned away. I had to go back to retrieve my original receipt. I then called the customer complaint line to report the situation, and they informed me that once the cashier processes the return, there's nothing more they can do. They said someone from the store would call me in 2 to 3 business days. I feel like Walmart monopolizes the retail market, makes customers do their own scanning to cut costs on labor, and treats us poorly when issues arise. It's virtually impossible to get help from management.
