Lounge India - Bedford

A little disappointing. We ordered a variety of dishes, and some were better then others. The Tikka Massala was very good, but the Crispy Garlic Chilli Duck, Saag Aloo and Saag Ponir tasted bland and lacked flavour. I also ordered a Lamb Tikka Bhuna, but got a plain Chicken Bhuna instead, again it was all very bland. The food arrived warm but could of been hotter. We’ll look to going elsewhere for our next Indian takeaway.

After being in Marston for around 3 years we finally got round to trying Lounge India and boy do we wish we’d tried it sooner. We regularly eat Indian food and the dishes we tried have been some of the best we’ve eaten. Plentiful portions, freshly cooked with loads of flavour, and enough heat in the spicier dishes to satisfy those who like a bit of a kick (like me! . Highly recommend.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is excellent. As regulars at Lounge India, we've never had a bad meal. The restaurant is far superior in both food and service.

I was informed that my order would be ready for collection in half an hour, but I ended up waiting over an hour. There was no apology for the delay, and they didn’t offer us a drink or anything while we waited. The service was quite disappointing.

The staff were rude! I turned around and got back in my car... I won't be coming back!!
