Lovely pub for a special occasion meal and the atmosphere inside is lovely. The staff are all friendly and very professional and the decor is both cosy and sophisticated. The bar area is quite small and on a busy night it can be quite crowded if you’re wanting a drink before the meal but fortunately the tables in the main dining area are much more spacious. The menu has a good range and all the dishes were served in good time, presented beautifully. The portion sizes made for good value and everything was cooked perfectly. Overall it was a really enjoyable meal and I can’t wait to return, even for a special occasion.

Pleasant interior but I had the worst food I've experienced for a long time. My husband chose duck rolls from the small dishes, which all sounded original and interesting. However, the dish had obviously been microwaved, so was soggy and greasy and did not seem freshly made.. Bizarrely, it was served on a bed of chick peas a very strange fusion which did not work. Unfortunately, my husband is not fusty and rarely comparison, which us not helpful to chefs. I hope the pub will take this as a constructive criticism.

I recently dined at this lovely pub for the first time and was impressed by the charming surroundings. They had a great selection of beers and ales. Unfortunately, the bruschetta bread in my starter was too hard and brittle. My main course of lamb was good, but my wife had to substitute the peppercorn butter with blue cheese for her steak. I opted for the moules frites and we all enjoyed our meals. Despite some hiccups, I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

Went for Sunday lunch. Both of us had Beef and we had the selection of deserts. Cost for a two course Sunday roast and 2 pints was £60. Best meal we have had out in ages and will be back for certain.

Absolutely amazing food and the friendliest staff. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing with our kids, drinks within 5 minutes off arriving, lovely atmosphere and great menu. Highly recommend
