Blue Fuji - Bedford

I always admire service workers, as I know their jobs can be tough and often unappreciated. However, the service I experienced here was quite disappointing. The person at the front seemed to view me as an inconvenience. I ended up waiting for 15 minutes on the side until he could assist me. When he finally did, he noticed that my food had already been sitting on the counter for a while. I hoped the food would compensate for the poor service, but that wasn’t the case. The shrimp I received was simply a shrimp cut in half, covered in more breading than a Subway sandwich.

Blue Fuji is a must-visit for anyone who loves expertly crafted and incredibly fresh sushi, as well as genuinely authentic Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine, all offered at surprisingly reasonable prices. After just two visits, the staff treated us like family, transforming an already enjoyable experience into an unforgettable dining journey. Now, on our tenth visit, that warm hospitality remains. Don't miss out on this gem before everyone else discovers how fantastic it is!

We also ordered beef and mushrooms with basil fried rice. It was pretty basic but tasty. Whether it’s called JIA or Blue Fuji, I think it would be better for the restaurant to remove the Japanese section from the menu and focus on what they do best. With rising costs and shrinking portions, it’s disappointing to pay more and not get the value we expect as we support our local Bedford restaurants. I won’t be returning until I see some improvements.

The food was great but the service and atmosphere is seriously lacking. We went on Fridays nights at dinner time twice and they clearly are doing to much takeout business to care about their dinner in guests. I won't return for dine in unless it's to try the lunch specials.

Horrible dining experience on New Years day.Arrived at 1:45 and the staff was rude, and unwelcoming. Immediately after our food was served, the waitress infomed us that they were closing at 2:30 and she started to break down our table and pressured us to pay our tab. It was not the way to start 2024.
